Judge’s comments: Allen’s photo from the basketball game transpires the boundaries of sports photography and gives the audience the flavor of something more. The photo captures not only the competitiveness of the sport, but also the rhythm in an almost ballet-like pose of the players. I picked Allen for his creativity in sport photography to show how much more it can be.
